Stay in Oz, ski the Grandes Rousses (Alpe d’Huez) 250km of pistes to 3300m. With 80 lifts and 135 runs it is one of the largest ski areas in the world. Oz is located at the heart of this vast area, with great, access to all sectors. The Oz/Vaujany sector itself has 22 lifts and 75km of runs, up to 2800m. Skiing back to Oz is via blues and reds. The Sarenne, at 17km is the longest black run in the world, a great challenge & there are many beginners zones, tobogganing, snow shoe walking, cross country & board parks.
Oz Station is traffic free, set amongst trees at 1350m altitude and has everything you need for a lovely winter or summer holiday. From the heated indoor swimming pools, tennis & volleyball courts to floodlit skiing, ice skating and tobogganing in winter including restaurants, shops & guides.
In summer, Oz is a centre for mountain biking, road cycling and walking and hosts many mountain biking and other events. It is a great base for the Tour de France, Megavalanche & Marmotte or just trying the Glandon, Croix de Fer, and Galibier passes.
